Who we are

Mobius Works Limited collects, uses and is responsible for certain personal information about you. The personal information we collect and use

Information collected by us

In the course of supplying building services, we collect the following personal information when you provide it to us:

  • Names and, contact details
  • Secondary contact details
  • Delivery & Invoice addresses
  • Web URL’s and social media addresses for client contact
  • bank details
  • purchase order details

Above is not a conclusive list and we may collect additional personal information from you. Any other personal information will be collected and processed in accordance with the terms of this policy.

Information collected from other sources

We also obtain personal information from other sources such as your bank (who will provide personal information such as your name and bank account details), HMRC (who will provide information relating to tax affairs) or main contractors (who will provide personal information such as name, contact details, purchase order details etc).

Who we share your personal information with

We routinely share your name and address with our third-party suppliers and also our sub-contractors who we use to supply the building services. Our regular third-party suppliers include Rapport Digital and Mozaic Communications. The data sharing enables us to supply the building services to you including delivery of materials in a professional and timely manner, whilst undertaking quality control procedures. Furthermore, it ensures compliance with all necessary UK law and regulatory bodies. We will share personal information with law enforcement or other authorities if required by applicable law. Subject to the “Website” section below, we will not share your personal information with any other third party.

How long your personal information will be kept

  • We will hold your name, address and contact details for a maximum of 3 months after the termination of any contract.
  • Quotations for a period of 6 months

Reasons we can collect and use your personal information

Under the GDPR, we must always have a lawful basis for using personal data. This may be because the data is necessary for our performance of a contract with you, because you have consented to our use of your personal data, or because it is in our legitimate business interests to use it. Your personal data may be used for one of the following purposes:

  • Supplying our services to you. Your personal details are required in order for us to enter into a contract with you, to enable us to create invoices and keep in touch with matters such as service updates, project progress etc.
  • Personalising and tailoring our services for you.

We will inform you at the point of collecting information from you, whether you are required to provide the information to us. We may also contact you by phone, letter or email in line with the service you have paid for. We may occasionally email you or send a letter about something relevant to the service you have paid for. With your permission and/or where permitted by law, we may also use your personal data for marketing purposes, which may include contacting you by email, telephone or post with information, news, and offers on our services. You will not be sent any unlawful marketing or spam. We will always work to fully protect your rights and comply with our obligations under the GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003, and you will always have the opportunity to opt-out.

We will only store or transfer your personal data in the UK. This means that it will be fully protected under the GDPR.
