Adventure Plus (http://www.adventureplus.org.uk) is a youth work charity that helps encourage over 7,000 people each year such as young people, families, schools, youth groups and employees in order to help them realise potential through adventure and education in a positive christian environment.
Mobius was delighted to take on the large project at Adventure Plus in Clanfield and put together a professionally skilled team in order to deliver the project to the highest standards. The works consisted of major ground works and Mechanical and Electrical Installations to provide new drainage and electrical power and water supplies to a yurt village. Works included;
• Installation of manholes
• Car park renovations
• Trenching for power and data
Throughout the project, the main challenge was working around poor weather, which slowed down the process due to safety and working with electrical supplies. However, with a mature team of experts working collaboratively, Mobius was able to plan around the weather and were still able to deliver the project to the clients expectations.
Throughout the development of Phase One our new Adventure Centre, Mobius have been very supportive and worked to an exceptional standard. Logistical challenges due to the groundworks and the wet weather has caused substantial issues with the programme however Mobius helped us move the project forward. Jon Cox - Executive Director
