Located in Queens Road, Bristol this fresh New York-style pizza diner came to Mobius to carry out a renovation project during the first half of 2021. The award-winning team behind Pasta Loco and Ripiena were planning on opening their new restaurant ‘Pizza Bianchi’ at the former site of the legendary 25-year old Rocotillo’s diner at the Clifton triangle after a successful stint of pop-up food stalls at Lakota Gardens in July 2020, and needed our help to fit-out the location have it ready for use. Our Professional teams were brought together in order to complete our goal within a strict time frame.
We were brought in to carry out a complete overhaul of the facility, with new implements, structural work, interior refurbishment, and branded exterior. We designed the refurbishment in house. Pizza Bianchi wanted a more spacious dining area for customers, so we designed a smaller open plan kitchen than the previous Rocotillo’s as to allow for more seating room and a better atmosphere.
Despite serving classic Naples style pizza, the desired design of the site was a New York/American style diner as to pay homage to the classic comfort food –filled atmosphere of this definitive type of eatery. We fitted the place with new counters and red & white tiles to give it such a quality, along with mint green leather seats and adjustable hanging spotlights.
Essentials were required like ventilation works, as well as a new Pizza oven for the kitchen and Bianchi's staple take-away window to top it off.
