The University's Bower Ashton site is located to the south of the city and is a busy campus site dedicated to the development of young artists and those pursuing creative skills. We were delighted to secure this educational sector project and the results did not disappoint.
This project was managed by our in-house Team as well as specialist sub contractors to complete the work which included redecoration, mechanical works, electrical works and flooring. Build work was also carried out including new partitions, installation of doors, skirting and architraves and new glazed screens. The work commenced with the demolition and alterations process; removing Marmoleum flooring from 7 different bays. The existing partition walls and infill panels were removed and demolition of part of a wall and install of concrete Lintol was undertaken. We also removed section of stud partitioning.
A busy site, clear communication and careful planning was needed in order to minimise the disruption to the staff.
